Enterprise Scan Document Pipeline command Failed Error

This document provides step by step instructions to quickly resolve the following error: "Critical error during archiving.  Document Pipeline command failed. The archiving procedure will be aborted."  See image below:

This error occurs when Archive Spawner Service has stopped.  Fortunately, all that is necessary to fix the issue is to restart the Archive Spawner Service.  The steps to do so are below.


Steps to Resolve

1) From your Desktop, Right Click on "This PC" if you are Windows 10 or "Computer" if you are on Windows 7.


2) On the Windos Menu that appears, left click on Manage.


3)  Left Double Click on "Services and Applications"

4)  Left Double Click on "Services" in "Computer Management"


5)  Left Click on "Archive Spawner" in "Computer Management"



6) Left Click Start the Service.

7) Close "Computer Management"



8) You should now be able to complete the archiving procedure.
